2 pkg. (6 oz) seasoned stuffing mix
2 large onions, chopped
2 c. chopped celery
3/4 c. butter
1 tsp. dried sage
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 beaten egg
1 can (14.5 oz.) chicken broth
8 oz sliced almonds
salt and pepper to taste
In large saucepan sauté onions and celery in butter until tender crisp. Remove from heat and cool. Add beaten egg, salt, pepper, sage and nutmeg. Add dressing cubes and nuts alternately with broth. Stuffing should be somewhat sticky.
Dogs that are able to be carried at all times may come into the museum.
