Recipes from The Nutcracker Lady



1 pkg. (3 oz) lime gelatin    

1/2 c. boiling water

1 c. cottage cheese

1/2 c. mayonnaise

1 med. cucumber, peeled and sliced  

4 green onions, chopped

1 med. dill pickle, chopped

1/2 c. sliced almonds

1/2 c. finely chopped celery (optional)


Dissolve gelatin in hot water.  Cool.  Blend in cottage

cheese and mayonnaise.  Cool again until nearly set,

then add cucumber, pickle, onions and almonds.  

Pour into individual molds and refrigerate until set.

Unmold on lettuce leave.
