SCHOOL DAYS ARE HERE….

Yes, school days are here and this is the way your teacher looked when all the necessary books were gathered for his classes. This nutcracker was designed by the Christian Ulbricht workshops.

From Ulbricht’s Seiffener Nussknackerhaus somes this friendly looking teacher that the young students are sure to love.

From KWO in Olbernau we have a Kindergarten teacher—a grandmother type that the youngest children will be happy with.

Also from KWO is a college professor who has earned his degrees and is now ready to pass on his knowledge to eager students.

From the Johann Weih workshops in the Rhoen area comes this teacher with bell and pencil in hand. Let’s put her with the upper grades as I am sure she would keep control!!

From the Steinbach workshops we have a mathematics teacher that is now ready to start his class on the intricacies of trigonometry.

From the Steinbach workshops we have a science teachers, magnifying glass in hand. We wonder what his first project will be for his classes.

SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS OR CLASS PROJECTS

TEACHERS PLEASE NOTE… We welcome field trips to the museum for your entire class, and have nutcracker hunts (our version of the scavenger hunt) for all grade levels. We can provide power point presentations for a teaching tool and if you have an idea for a class project that we could help with, please let us know.

Each year we have a contest with monetary prizes where students can use their imagination and creativity to build their own instrument that will crack a hazelnut. Here are several pictures of winning designs.
