Far away from the Erzgebirge you will find many products from the Seiffen region. The Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum is 10,000 kilometers to the west in the state of Washington, USA. The collection started with Arlene Wagner’s fascination of the ETA Hoffman story of the Nutcracker. Today she shows over 5,000 different nutcrackers to visitors from far and near. In addition to the Erzgebirge nutcrackers, there are carved animal and human figures, and nutting stones, the very first instruments used to crack nuts.

The Nutcracker Museum is handicap accessible.
